| This is a 6.5kg (14.3 lb.) counterweight for the Takahashi NJP mount. It is finished in Takahashi green. The mounting hole for the mount's counterweight shaft in the center of the counterweight is internally threaded to allow it to screw onto the NJP's threaded counterweight shaft. Balancing the scope is done by rotating the counterweight to move it up and down the counterweight shaft. . . .
