This high quality bolt-style polypropylene eyepiece container provides inexpensive protection for your expensive optics. It keeps an eyepiece safe, dustproof, and dewproof. It has a hexagonal base that prevents the eyepiece from rolling if the container is placed on a slanted surface. Soft foam inserts inside both ends cradle the eyepiece to keep it from rattling around during transit. If the foam insert in the top of the container is too loose for your liking, a piece of double-faced tape (not supplied) can be used to hold it in place in the container top. Additional foam inserts (#52FOAM) are available optionally to provide a more snug fit for very short eyepieces. The screw-closure design cannot open accidentally, even if dropped. The length is adjustable to hold any eyepiece measuring between 44mm (1.7”) and 70mm (2.75”) in length, with a maximum diameter of 42mm (1.65”).

Some of the wide range of eyepieces that fit in this container include:

.- all Celestron NexStar, Omni, and E-Lux Plössls 32mm and shorter;

.- all Celestron SMA;

.- Celestron Ultimas 18mm and shorter;

.- Celestron 20mm crosshair eyepiece;

.- Celestron 15mm and 19mm 1.25” Axioms;

.- Meade Series 3000 Plössls 25mm and shorter;

.- TeleVue Plössls 25mm and shorter;

.- TeleVue 15mm Panoptic;

.- TeleVue 4.8mm Nagler;

.- Takahashi LE eyepieces 24mm and shorter;

.- Takahashi 0.965” orthos;

.- TMB 1.25” Super Monocentrics (these eyepieces are very short and will require several additional foam inserts;

.- all Vernonscope and Questar Brandons; and

.- Meade AT Series Plössls if you find that their supplied eyepiece containers are too small in diameter for easy removal of the eyepieces, particularly when wearing gloves in cold weather.
