| This dovetail plate adapter clamps onto the Losmandy D-plate dovetail plate for use on Losmandy-style mounts (current Losmandy GM-8, G-11, and HGM Titan; and Celestron current CGE and older CG11 mounts). A finger-tighten locking handle on the side of the adapter clamps it firmly into place on the dovetail, but allows instant repositioning or changing of accessories with no tools required. A series of seven holes are drilled into the adapter for installing virtually any configuration of non-Losmandy finderscope rings, off-axis guider rings, ball-head camera mounts, etc. The holes are countersunk on the underside of the adapter so that the mounting bolts holding the accessories will not interfere with the dovetail plate. The adapter weighs 11 oz. The height from the top of the dovetail plate to the top of the DA adapter is 0.5”. |
