| This Losmandy side by side saddle plate incorporates two standard Losmandy saddle plates mounted parallel to each other on a Losmandy D-plate. The dovetail openings of the saddles are mounted on the D-plate at right angles to the long axis of the plate. This allows you to mount two optical systems side by side on a Losmandy G-11 mount by rotating the G-11 saddle 90 degrees. The dual saddles have standard Losmandy dovetail slots that accept the 75mm wide dovetail of the “D” series plates. The adapter weighs 7.25 lbs. The total thickness is 1.5” and the saddle plate separation is 10.0”, center to center. The side by side plate is made of machined aluminum, anodized black. |
