| This is an additional 2 pound weight for all Meade tube balance systems to help balance heavy loads mounted on the rear cell of an SCT. Such loads can include (but are not limited to) a 35mm camera and tele-extender combined with a rear cell electric focuser, a very heavy 2" eyepiece together with a 2" star diagonal and rear cell electric focuser, a heavy camera and lens mounted on top of the scope for piggyback photography, a CCD camera and color filter wheel combined with a rear cell electric focuser, etc. |
