| This full aperture filter fits Celestron 10” Newtonian Advanced Series reflector telescopes (C10N and C10N-GT). It has a 254mm/10” clear aperture Type 2+ glass filter element. The filter element is mounted in an aluminum cell with a 292mm/11.5” internal diameter to fit scopes with a maximum diameter of 290.5mm (11-7/16”). You can custom fit it to scopes with an O.D. of 286mm (11.25”) to 290.5mm (11-7/16”) by using the extra supplied self-adhesive felt. Always remember to install the solar filter before pointing your telescope at the Sun to avoid instant and irreversible damage to your eyesight. |
