| This 2" wide adjustable length woven tripod carrying strap has a bolt at one end that threads into a hole in the side of older Bogen/Manfrotto tripods (except the Junior model). Newer Manfrotto tripods do not have this threaded hole. Instead, there is a metal attachment loop machined into the side of the tripod head. With these tripods, the bolt is unclipped from the end of the tripod strap and the end of the tripod strap is clipped directly to the attachment loop on the tripod. A self-tightening loop at the other end of the strap fits over all three tripod legs and holds them firmly together to allow comfortable no-hands carrying of the tripod, with or without a scope mounted.
