The filter is made of flexible Baader Astro Solar Safety Film, mounted in a durable molded ABS plastic cell. The 3-15/16” i.d. cell fits over the dewshield at the front of the scope and is held in place by friction.  Images of Some Features Back side of filter, showing the lip that fits over the scope front cell and two of the friction ribs that hold the filter in place.
