| This is an excellent quality 1.25” 2x fully multicoated Barlow that uses ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass to minimize chromatic aberrations that affect color fidelity and can hinder sharp planetary views. Its very short 2.5” length allows use in star diagonals. A thumbscrew holds eyepieces in place. The body has blackened internal antireflection threading for improved contrast. A safety groove cut into the barlow’s chrome barrel engages the thumbscrew of your diagonal or eyepiece holder to keep the Barlow from falling to the ground should the thumbscrew accidentally loosen during use. Comes with plastic covers for both ends of the Barlow to keep the optics dust free when not in use. Weighs only 2.5 ounces. |
