| This Kendrick software and special RS-232 cable package allows you to program and monitor a Kendrick #KDPPC Premier digital dew heater power controller from your PC so you can operate the controller from a remote location or from indoors. All of the Premier controller’s usual programming functions are available to you at your PC and the software has an intuitive user interface that makes it easy to program and monitor the controller. The software will create a log file that can be imported into a spreadsheet program. This is useful should you have any reason or need to determine the operational functionality of the controller or heaters.
The software comes with the necessary special RS-232 crossover cable you will need to connect the controller to your computer. You can extend the reach of the cable using a standard telephone extension cable.
The software requires a PC with a Pentium-class processor and an available COM port. A Pentium 90 or higher processor is recommended. You will need a CD-ROM and Microsoft Windows 98 or later as your operating system. You will need 24 MB of RAM (32 MB is recommended), with 10MB of hard-disk space available. A VGA or higher-resolution monitor is needed (with Super VGA recommended). |
