| This cover will protect the altazimuth mount Celestron NexStar 9.25” Schmidt-Cassegrain dual fork arm catadioptric. To install the cover on the altazimuth mount scope, aim the optical tube at the zenith, parallel to the fork arms, and slip the cover over it and the drive base. If your NexStar 9.25 is mounted on a factory equatorial wedge so its fork arms point at the celestial pole, you will need a larger cover to fit over the rectangular wedge. The #TG11 is normally recommended, although you should measure the actual circumference of your wedge to be certain the #TG11 will fit, particularly if you have an oversize aftermarket wedge. It may be necessary to go to a still larger cover in some cases. The cover measures 58” in circumference by 42” high. |
