| This is a 25' long RS-232 (4-pin telephone plug) to DB-9 serial plug cable. The RS-232 plug connects to the telescope, while the DB-9 plug connects to the 9-pin serial port on the back of your PC. The cable allows you to connect your Celestron NexStar telescope to your PC so you can control the go-to operation of the scope from your PC or laptop (using the appropriate software, such as TheSky from Software Bisque or Celestron's NexRemote for the NexStar 5i and 8i series scopes). |
