This prime focus adapter fits the rear cell of the Celestron 90mm and 130mm Maksutov-Cassegrain spotting scopes and the Celestron NexStar 4 and 90mm, 102mm, and 130mm Maksutov-Cassegrain astronomical telescopes. It cannot be used with Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes or other brands of Maksutov-Cassegrains, such as the Meade ETX series. Needs optional T-ring.
It converts the 90mm scopes to a 1200mm f/13.33 telephoto lens. It converts the 102mm scope to a 1325mm f/13 terrestrial telephoto lens and prime focus lunar photography lens. It converts the 130mm scopes to a 2000mm f/15.4 terrestrial telephoto lens and prime focus lunar photography lens. The adapter is not usable for high magnification planetary photography or long exposure deep space photography. |
