| This Celestron EdgeHD prime focus T-adapter threads onto the rear cell of the Celestron 8” EdgeHD catadioptric telescope only. It cannot be used with the Celestron 9.25”, 11”, or 14” EdgeHD scopes (which need EdgeHD T-adapter #93646) nor with any other Celestron Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes. A retaining lock ring on the scope side of the adapter connects the adapter securely to the rear cell of an 8" EdgeHD scope. Male T-threads on the opposite side allow connection to an optional T-ring for DSLR use, or to the female T-threads on the faceplate of most CCD cameras and filter wheels. A metal flange at the camera side of the adapter acts as a light shield to eliminate any possible light leakage through the T-ring threads. |
