| The two parts of this Meade adapter allow both prime focus and eyepiece projection 35mm photography with refractors and reflectors having 1.25” focusers. It is not recommended for Schmidt-Cassegrain or Maksutov-Cassegrain telescopes. The 1.25” chrome barrel prime focus section is used by itself (with an optional T-ring) for prime focus lunar and terrestrial photography. The eyepiece holder section (the tube with a thumbscrew to hold an eyepiece in place) and the prime focus section are screwed together for eyepiece projection photography (using the same optional T-ring). This adapter cannot be used with Meade 25mm or 40mm modified achromatic or 20mm and 26mm Super Plössl eyepieces, or any eyepiece whose body (excluding the chrome barrel portion) is more than 1.5” in length. Eyepieces with rubber eyecups may not fit into the camera adapter without temporarily removing the eyecup. The adapter is threaded for 1.25” filters. Needs optional T-ring. Projection distance is 60mm. |
