| These machined aluminum knobs have stainless steel threaded shafts for mounting either the GM-8 or G-11 equatorial head to its tripod. For more convenient no-tool assembly in the field, the knobs are designed to replace the standard button-head bolts and hex head wrench supplied with the mounts. Very convenient if you’ve ever forgotten to bring the right size hex head wrench with you to assemble your mount, or if you bring the wrench but lose it in the tall damp grass sometimes during the evening so you can’t disassemble your mount. |
