| The two parts of this economical Bushnell adapter allow both prime focus and eyepiece projection 35mm photography with refractors and reflectors having 1.25” focusers. It is not recommended for Schmidt-Cassegrain or Maksutov-Cassegrain telescopes. The 1.25” black barrel prime focus section is used by itself (with an optional T-ring) for lunar and terrestrial photography. The eyepiece holder section (the tube with a thumbscrew to hold an eyepiece in place) and the prime focus section are screwed together for eyepiece projection photography (using the same optional T-ring). The adapter cannot be used with any eyepiece whose body (excluding the chrome barrel portion) is more than 1.5” in length. Eyepieces with rubber eyecups may not fit into the camera adapter without temporarily removing the eyecup. The adapter is threaded for 1.25” filters. Needs optional T-ring. Projection distance is 64mm. |
