| This Celestron white light solar filter fits the Celestron Omni 102 XLT, Advanced Series C4R, and NexStar 102 4” refractors. It will also work with the older FirstScope 102AZ 4” refractors as well as the discontinued Celestron C4.5” reflector. The filter is made of flexible Baader Astro Solar Safety Film, mounted in a durable 4.5” i. d. molded ABS plastic cell. The cell fits over the dew shield at the front of the 4” refractors (over the entire front cell of the C4.5) and is held in place by friction. Some older Celestron 4” refractors (the C102AZ, C102HD, etc.) had a larger diameter dew shield than the current scopes and the 4.5” i. d. cell of this filter will not fit these older scopes. Be certain that the outer diameter of your refractor’s dew shield or reflector’s optical tube is 4.5” before ordering this Celestron filter. |
