| This Celestron white light solar filter fits the 8” Celestron CPC800 an d NexStar 8SE Schmidt-Cassegrains only. The filter is made of flexible Baader Astro Solar Safety Film, mounted in a durable molded plastic cell with a lip on the back of the cell that slips into the front cell of this 8” scope. L-shaped notches in the filter cell line up with locking pegs on the inside of the CPC800 front cell. A half-inch rotation of the filter engages the pegs and locks the filter securely in place. |
