| This DC power supply for the SBIG ST-7, ST-8, ST-9, ST-10, and ST-2000 CCD cameras provides a way to connect the camera to the cigarette lighter of your car (or into the 12 VDC cigarette light socket on a rechargeable battery pack). It has one attached heavy-duty cable with a 5-pin DIN plug to connect to the camera body, while a second cable has a heavy-duty male cigarette lighter plug for connection to the car or rechargeable battery output. It also comes with a cable with a female cigarette lighter plug on one end and spring-loaded battery clips on the other to allow you to connect the adapter to the terminals of a 12 volt automobile battery. The adapter draws a maximum of 2.5 amps at 12 VDC, so be sure that your rechargeable battery pack has enough capacity to last though your entire imaging session. |
