| This SBIG 12VDC power cable is used to directly power an SBIG STL-series camera from the cigarette lighter of your car or from a rechargeable 12VDC battery pack. It is custom made with heavy gauge conductors for minimum voltage loss.
The heavy duty 10’ cord has 6 pin male DIN plug on one end that connects to the DIN power input on an STL camera and a standard fused (8 amp) male cigarette lighter plug on the other end. The cable can be used to connect your camera to the cigarette lighter of your car. It will also plug into the 12VDC output of a typical rechargeable portable power pack, such as the #4512V and #4517V Power Tank models from Celestron. (Note: this cable is not compatible with ST-7/8/9/10/2000 cameras). |
