| This heavy-duty finderscope bracket is designed specifically to hold a Takahashi 7 x 50mm finderscope only. It has a flat mounting shoe with holes that are spaced to fit the flat finderscope mounting boss on the rear cells of Takahashi refractor optical tubes 4” in aperture and larger. It is painted Takahashi green to match the finish of the Takahashi scopes. Three chromed ball-head bolts in the front of the wide mounting ring center the finderscope body in the ring. Three hand-tighten non-marring nylon-tipped bolts in the rear of the ring collimate the finder with the main telescope optics. Separate locking nuts on the collimating bolts hold the collimation firmly in place until you change it. |
