| This economical 2-element Meade achromatic Barlow will triple the power of any 1.25" eyepiece used with it. While it is designed to fit into the eyepiece holder of Meade ETX-60AT and ETX-70AT computerized refractors, its short (2.5") length allows it to be used in the 1.25” star diagonal or focuser of any telescope for true 3x magnification. It's best at focal ratios of f/6 and above. A thumbscrew holds eyepieces firmly in place. Because of its high power, be sure not to use too short a focal length eyepiece that might push the scope's magnification beyond the useful limit of 50x-60x per inch of aperture. Weighs 3 oz. |
