| This off-axis filter has a 101mm/4” clear aperture Type 2+ glass filter element. The filter is mounted on a white fiberboard insert in an aluminum cell that has a 305mm/12.00” internal diameter to fit scopes with a maximum diameter of 303mm (11-15/16”). It fits all versions of the Meade 10” Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope (2120, LX6, LX5, Premier, LX200, LX200 GPS, etc.), plus Meade 10” LXD-55 and LXD-75 Schmidt-Newtonians. You can custom fit it to scopes with an O.D. of 298.5mm (11-3/4”) to 303mm (11-15/16”) by using the extra supplied self-adhesive felt. Always remember to install the solar filter before pointing your telescope at the Sun to avoid instant and irreversible damage to your eyesight. |
