The case measures 17" x 47" x 18". It is made of heavy, water-resistant dual layer (polyester/nylon) material. Shock-absorbing foam padding is sewn into the inner lining for maximum protection. Oval padded end pieces help the case conform to the shape of the Dobsonian optical tube with its projecting focuser and finderscope. A full-length zipper allows easy access to the case. Sewn-in carry straps wrap completely around the case for support. A wide padded handle on the straps fits comfortably in the hand.
