Eye relief at 2mm is far too short for unvignetted use with eyeglasses, but the sharpness of the image will offset this drawback for most observers.

The Brandon is the sharpest design currently available for eyepiece projection photography. Its rolldown rubber eyecup can be removed, should the eyepiece/eyecup combination be too wide to fit easily in your eyepiece projection adapter. Since 1971, the 12mm Vernonscope Brandon eyepiece has been the only high power eyepiece recommended by Questar for use on their ultra-premium Maksutov-Cassegrain telescopes.
