| This high quality bolt-style polypropylene eyepiece container provides inexpensive protection for your very large and expensive optics, such as the longer focal length Meade Series 5000 2" Ultra Wide and Super Wide eyepieces. It keeps an eyepiece safe, dustproof, and dewproof. It has a hexagonal base that prevents the eyepiece from rolling if the container is placed on a slanted surface. Three soft white closed-pore foam inserts (each 9mm thick) inside the ends of the container cradle the eyepiece and keep it from rattling around during transit. If the foam insert in the top of the container is too loose for your liking, you can use a piece of double-faced tape (not supplied) to hold it in place in the container top. Additional foam inserts (#105FOAM) are available optionally to provide a more snug fit for shorter eyepieces. The screw-closure design cannot open accidentally, even if dropped. The length is adjustable to hold any eyepiece or camera lens measuring between 115mm (4.5") and 200mm (8") in length, with a maximum diameter of 105mm (4.13").
