| This one-piece finderscope bracket has a single stalk mount that bolts to any of the accessory mounting rings that clamp around the optical tubes of the larger Takahashi refractors only. Using the accessory mounting ring approach allows you to position the finderscope at any radial orientation around the scope body – to the right, the left, above the centerline of the scope, below it, etc. It also allows you to position the finderscope forward of the focuser, to help balance the weight of a heavy photographic chain, etc. The bracket is painted Takahashi green to match the finish of the Takahashi scopes. The one-piece mounting ring is sized specifically to hold a Takahashi 11 x 70mm finderscope only. Three chromed ball-head bolts in the front of the mounting ring center the finderscope body in the ring. Three hand-tighten non-marring nylon-tipped bolts in the rear of the ring collimate the finder with the main scope optics. Separate locking nuts on the collimating bolts hold the collimation firmly in place until you change it.
