This 45-degree viewing angle image erecting diagonal is designed to use 1.25" eyepieces in catadioptric telescopes with a 1.25" visual back or in refractors with a 1.25" focuser drawtube. It can be used with older 12", 14", and 16" Meade SCTs by adding a 1.25" eyepiece holder #9135. (These scopes normally came with a thread-on 2" star diagonal that cannot accommodate the image erector.) Current GPS versions of these scopes (with electric microfocusers) can use it with no additional adapter needed. It is not usable with reflectors. It increases the magnification by approximately 8%. A chrome thumbscrew holds eyepieces firmly in place. It is fully coated for high light transmission.
