This Celestron white light solar filter fits the current PowerSeeker 114 and NexStar 114SLT 4.5" reflectors, as well as most older Celestron FirstScope 114EQ, FirstScope 114EQ short, and NexStar 114 reflectors. The filter is made of flexible Baader Astro Solar Safety Film, mounted in a durable molded ABS plastic cell. The cell presses into the front cell of the telescope and is held in place by friction. The friction-fit lip on the inside of the filter has an external diameter of 5". Be certain that the internal diameter of the opening in your scope’s front cell is 5" before ordering this filter, or you will not be able to install the filter in your scope.
