| This is the 2x 1.25" multiplier for high power use with Denkmeier Big Easy and other standard binoviewers when used with Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes and a 1.25" star diagonal. It threads into the hollow 1.25" nosepiece of the binoviewer to double the magnification and increase the normal SCT focal ratio to f/20. It can be used with Denkmeier Power x Switch binoviewers by leaving the Power x Switch Arm in the OUT position.
It can also be used with a standard 2" star diagonal if the diagonal’s 2" nosepiece is threaded for filters by adding Denkmeier part T (our part #DTADAP). The part T adapter holds the 1.25" multiplier in the 2" diagonal nosepiece, rather than in the binoviewer nosepiece. This keeps the multiplier body from touching and scratching the surface of the diagonal mirror, which it would do if installed directly in the binoviewer nosepiece as normally. The multiplier cannot be used in the type of 2" diagonal that threads onto the rear cell of an SCT, but must be used in a diagonal with a straight 2" nosepiece.
Comes packed in a bolt-style protective plastic case. Both ends of the multiplier are capped by protective 1.25" plastic covers.
