This leatherette-covered plywood case is designed to store and transport the Coronado Personal Solar Telescope (PST). The external dimensions of the case are 6.5" x 8.5" x 18.5". It has a carrying handle, metal corner reinforcements, metal hinges, and non-locking metal toggles to hold it shut. The case is supplied without interior foam, as shown in the first product feature image. The die-cut foam from the PST shipping carton is designed to hold the scope in this carrying case, as shown in the second product feature image. The rigid telescope shipping foam is precisely sized to fit in this case and is die cut to hold the PST, several eyepieces, and an optional tabletop tripod. Even if you don’t buy the carrying case now, do not discard the foam from the shipping carton when you receive your scope. You will need the foam, should you later decide to add this case.
