| This SBIG STF-8300M/OAG/FW package is a well-balanced camera/accessory package for serious deep space tri-color imaging with virtually any telescope and equatorial mount that has an autoguider input. The package price saves you hundreds of dollars over the cost of buying the three components separately.
This SBIG imaging package consists of a second-generation 8.3 megapixel SBIG monochrome STF-8300M CCD camera, a five-position SBIG FW5-8300 36mm filter wheel, and an SBIG OAG-8300 wide field off-axis guider body. Simply add your choice of optional 36mm LRBG or narrowband (H-alpha, Oxygen III, and Sulfur II) filters for tri-color imaging and an SBIG ST-i monochrome or color planet cam for guiding, and you are ready to go. An added bonus is that the ST-i planet cam can also be used on its own in your scope for serious lunar and planetary imaging.
