The T316 has a height of 60", with a 84" circumference opening at the bottom (meaning it will slip over a nearly 27" diameter scope or drive base). It will fit Meade altazimuth fork-mounted 16" Schmidt-Cassegrains when their optical tubes are parked in a vertical position, as shown in the photo. It will not fit the Meade 16" RCX400 Advanced Ritchey-Chrétien catadioptric due to the larger size of the latter's forkarms.

A heavy-duty drawstring sewn into the bottom of the cover cinches tight under the telescope base to hold the cover in place in windy conditions. Two spring clamps with plastic tips are provided for additional custom fitting of the cover around your particular scope model. In addition, a lasso-type bungee cord with an adjustable slide barrel lock is provided for additional securing of the cover at midscope/mount areas.
