This full aperture filter has a 203mm/8" clear aperture Type 2+ glass filter element. The filter element is mounted in an aluminum cell with a 233mm/9-3/16" internal diameter to fit scopes with a maximum diameter of 231.8mm (9-1/8").

It fits all versions of the 8" Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes from Celestron (C8, C8+, Celestar 8, NexStar 8, NexStar 8i, CPC800, CGE-800. etc.) and Meade (2080, LX5, LX6, Premier, LX10, LX50, LXD-55, LXD-75, LX200, LX200 GPS, etc.), plus all versions of the Meade 7" Maksutov-Cassegrain (LX-50, LX200, etc.)

You can custom fit it to scopes with an O.D. of 227mm (8-15/16") to 231.8mm (9-1/8") by using the extra supplied self-adhesive felt.

Always remember to install the solar filter before pointing your telescope at the Sun to avoid instant and irreversible damage to your eyesight.
