| This heavy-duty Vixen accessory plate contains a wide variety of slots, smooth, and threaded holes for mounting virtually any telescope rings or accessory mounting plates to Vixen equatorial mounts. It can also be used to hold Vixen tube/accessory rings, fine adjustment units, guide scopes and other ¼" bolt-on accessories. The plate comes with a removable Sphinx/Great Polaris dovetail rail on the bottom for mounting the plate on any Vixen Sphinx, Great Polaris, or Great Polaris mount. The dovetail can easily be modified to allow the platform to be pivoted 90° for mounting scopes side-by-side for imaging/guiding or optical comparison. Great for custom mounting home-built and other non-Vixen tubes to Vixen-style equatorial mounts. While it is painted to match the color of the Sphinx mount, it will also work with all versions of the Vixen Great Polaris mount, as well as the Celestron CG5 and Meade LXD75 mounts.
