Canon EOS cameras are popular for astro-imaging. However, a conventional Canon T-ring does not take advantage of the wide aperture of the Canon bayonet mount. Significant vignetting is caused by the constriction of the conventional T-thread opening in the T-ring. This TeleVue Canon wide-mount T-ring adapter has a bayonet mount that connects to your Canon EOS camera in place of a conventional Canon T-ring. Its wide-mount design provides 25% greater aperture to minimize vignetting when used with TeleVue NP-127is, NP-101is, and TV-102iis Imaging System telescope accessories. This adapter connects your Canon EOS camera to the 2.4" focuser drawtube of the above TeleVue scopes for imaging.
