Coma is an optical aberration found in all fast focal ratio reflectors. It causes star images at the edges of the field to elongate into comet-like shapes. This multicoated multilens system for the fast focal ratio R200SS f/4 reflector eliminates coma in both visual observation and prime focus photography. It makes stars appear point-like all the way across the field. It has internal and external 56mm diameter x 0.75mm pitch threads that fit the scope’s focuser drawtube and allow it in turn to connect to any of the Direct Wide Photo Adapters (DW3876, DW3877, or DW3878), or to 2" Eyepiece Adapter EA3725. The Coma Corrector 2 is supplied with protective rubber end caps.
