This extension tube is used for 35mm eyepiece projection photography with any Vixen telescope that uses the #SD2680 1.25" flip-mirror star diagonal. Once the eyepiece is inserted into the eyepiece holder of the flip mirror, this extension tube is slipped over the eyepiece. Three thumbscrews on the tube hold the tube on the slightly flared collar at the end of the eyepiece holder. By loosening the thumbscrews slightly, the adapter can be rotated to put the camera into either a landscape or portrait orientation, or any angle in between, to best frame the photographic subject.

As with all camera adapters, an optional T-ring is needed to connect your 35mm camera body to the adapter.
