| Celestron and Software Bisque have teamed up to produce this comprehensive CD-ROM of basic star-charting software. This computerized sky map has a database of 10,000 stars and objects it can plot and display for you. That’s enough solar system and deep space detail to keep you busy observing for years, yet not so much that you’re overwhelmed by charts showing much more detail than your scope can usefully reveal. It’s ideal for an astronomical beginner with a telescope up to 4.5" in aperture. The program can display on your computer screen star charts for any day, time, and location you specify. It has a zoom capability to let you see interesting areas close up. Custom sky chart printing will let you print out eyepiece finder charts to use with your telescope to help you locate and identify the planets and many famous and faint deep space nebulas, galaxies, and star clusters. There are 75 full color images of well-known celestial wonders to help you identify them through your scope. This is a fun, useful, and educational tool for the beginning astronomer. It requires a PC running Windows 95 and higher.
