This Astrozap dew heater fits the Telrad non-magnifying reflex finder. The U-shaped plastic heater has two legs that slide down into the Telrad, under the Telrad’s reflex viewing window frame, as shown in the feature image below.

The heater is held in place by the pressure of its legs against the sides of the viewing window’s frame. The U-shaped design of the heater does not obstruct your view of the skies through the Telrad’s viewing window.

The heater draws 0.88 amps at full power (power consumption at normal operating levels will generally be 40% to 60% less, as the normal standard controller setting is medium to low). It has a permanently attached 4’ power cord terminated by a male RCA plug for connection to the heater control unit.
