| The Bushnell 10 x 42mm Natureview Plus is a center focus Z-body porro prism with premium BaK-4 prisms. It is fully multicoated on all optical surfaces for higher light transmission and contrast. Its metal body is clad in black rubber armor to protect against accidents. Molded-in thumb and finger grooves provide a comfortable grip. It has a soft padded vinyl case, an eyepiece rainguard, and objective lens covers. It has soft rolldown eyecups and there's a rotating collar diopter adjustment on the right eyepiece. The binocular neck strap is a little on the narrow side and an optional wide padded neck strap might be a sensible investment in observing comfort. Eye relief is a full 17mm that allows eyeglass wearers to see the entire field of view. The 10 x 42mm can be mounted on a camera tripod by using optional adapter #1185L for extended viewing sessions. Less than one turn of its large focus knob moves from near focus to the horizon, allowing birds in flight to be tracked easily. While this Bushnell may be priced to keep a bank account happy, it is optically good enough to keep a birder happy for years.
