If this Astro-Tech AT80EDT was just another feature-laden 80mm doublet apo refractor, it would be fairly priced. But – this is not a doublet. It has a genuine ED triplet lens system that Sky & Telescope said has “essentially textbook-perfect diffraction images,” and that makes it an astronomical bargain indeed . . .
