I have been using the prism on my Celestron 6" Schmidt for daytime viewing and it works well. I have also used it at night for moon astronomy and am pleased with the results. It seems to be a good overall prism. I still use the original prism for most astronomy, but I really can't see much of a difference. (Posted on 4/12/2022)

Mine came along with the spotter version of the C-5. Adequate in daylight or at dusk but not the best choice for astronomy if for no other reason that you sometimes see a line through the image because of the way the complex prism is constructed. It might be a good choice for someone who has difficulty bending to use a 90 degree diagonal but not otherwise. 3 stars for daylight use and 2 stars for night use. (Posted on 10/23/2019)
