This 12mm Astro-Tech Value Line Plössl is a good quality medium power eyepiece at a low, low price. Designed for detailed lunar observing, it's also great for getting up close and personal with emission and reflection nebulas, and for resolving globular clusters. It will work well with any telescope type, at any focal ratio, under virtually any seeing conditions. Eye relief is somewhat limited and will vignette the view for observers who must wear eyeglasses. However, this shouldn't be an issue for most observers.
