This 6mm Astro-Tech Value Line Plössl is a good quality fully-multicoated high power eyepiece at a good low price. It's designed for high magnification lunar and planetary observing, for splitting binary stars, and for darkening the sky for observation of compact galaxies and planetary nebulas. The field of view is a substantial 52°. Eye relief is limited and will vignette the view for eyeglass wearers. However, this shouldn't be an issue when observing small objects, such as planets, and when splitting binary stars.
