The Astro-Tech handle is not only nice to look at, it is extremely useful as it performs double duty.
1. It functions as a handle (This is fairly obvious from the name...) and is 125mm long. The handle will help making set up much easier as you have a solid part to grab onto and not just the tube.
2. The top of the handle has Vixen compatible making it usefull for your astrophotography goals.
The CNC machined handle is finished in a durable black anodize.

What is not in the description. To fit the AT72EDII the forward ring must be moved forward making the physical length longer since the due shield will not retract all the way. It still fits my backpack so I am good with it.
The handle is well constructed and did come with mounting screws.
