I bought this to go with my Omni lenses. I was very pleased with the lenses I thought I would give the Barlow a try as well. The ability to attach the end piece of the Barlow to the eyepiece give me a wide range of Focal lengths to choose from. (Posted on 11/2/2019)

I added this to my C8 purchase and have found it very useful for planets and small DSOs. I don't have another brand to which I can compare it but I have been happy with the purchase. (Posted on 10/31/2019)

When I was looking for accessories for my new Nexstar 5SE, I knew I needed a 2x barlow. I went with this one because I was looking for "not the cheapest, but not a televue". It came and I was concerned that it was loose. I sent Astronomics an email and they responded quickly, I was not worried anymore. It turns out that you can unscrew the bottom black bit, and it becomes a 1.5x Barlow. I've used this feature extensively. (Posted on 9/9/2019)

I've not found an "omni" item I didn't like. I found this little 2x barlow to be quite capable and clear. The ability to screw the lens section onto an ep or camera mount makes it even more useful. It's had a place in my lens case for quite a while now.
My 3x explore scientific comes in a really neat box and has knurlies and a nicer slip connection(brass band protector) but costs 3x as much. (Posted on 8/26/2019)

I have found no difference between this barlow and three element barlows in the 100 dollar range that I have borrowed thru the years. I do like the powermates a little better but those are much more expensive. I will add that in the dark and when you get more equipment it is nice to have more than one barlow! (Posted on 1/5/2019)

I bought this to add some magnification to the few I eyepieces I have and it works very nicely to get that extra detail on the moon and planets in my 4in refractor! Definitely recommended. (Posted on 10/30/2018)
