The 32mm ES62 is not perfect but has many excellent qualities. The only flaw in this eyepiece is that it is not sharp to the field stop. In my 120mm f/7.5 APO star images start to lose sharpness in the outer 30% of the field. However, unlike many low cost, long focal length eyepieces the star images do not for curved lines so the falloff in sharpness is not an aesthetic distraction. The positive qualities of this eyepiece include: (1) very comfortable and easy eye placement, (2) sharp field stop, (3) clean and evenly illuminated sky background, (4) very sharp central field, (5) excellent transmission, (6) light weight.
The 32mm has been useful for all types of deep sky objects and low magnification lunar viewing. With the 120ED APO it provides high contrast views of the Milky Way, nebula, dark nebula, and large open clusters. (Posted on 11/17/2018)
