The iOptron HEM series of mounts were designed hold reasonable amount of weight without needing the, at times, cumbersom counterweights. However, there are times we all need a little extra help. If you find your payload is approaching the capacity of the mount you are are able to add this counterweight bar and additional counterweights to give you the extra payload capacity you are searching for.
This counterweight bar fits a HEM27/HEM44 mount. It is also the original CW bar for a CEM26/GEM28 mount.
